This is another one of those cases where I had a hard time choosing which direction to go. I liked the idea of the spiraling dracaena (also known as lucky bamboo) -- obviously, there are three versions using it -- but then remembered Gandalf's staff as potrayed in The Lord of the Rings. There was a clear winner given the theme of this Tarot, but I invested enough labor in the dracaena that I couldn't not share them too.

Clearly I had John DeLancie in is delightful Star Trek The Next Generation role as Q in mind for the King of Cups. While the second image is more in character with the Rider-Waite, I'm much fonder of the first image myself. Now, if only Joanna Lumley had been a female Q, all would have been right with the world.
